Arisa.ai ("the app") is a language-learning app that lets you practice English and Japanese in conversation with AI characters. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to delete it.

1. Data we collect

Account information

When you create an account we collect and store:

• Email address and a password (handled by Firebase Authentication — we never see or store your password ourselves)
• First and last name
• Age, if you provide it
• Profile details you choose to enter: a short title, a profile fact, an "about me" description, and interests
• Profile photo, if you upload one
• A notification token, used to deliver push notifications

An account is required to use the app.

Conversations and learning content

• The messages you send to the AI characters, and their replies
• Voice input, when you choose to speak instead of type
• Conversations, words and phrases you save for study
• Notes and memos you write in the app
• A learner profile the app builds from your conversations — for example, topics you mention or your approximate level — used to make the characters' responses more relevant to you
